How to Submit a Proposal
It may be prudent to submit a brief LOI letter summarizing the request before submitting a full proposal.
This may aid in eliminating wasted time in the development of a proposal that does not fit our guidelines or Focus.
Correspondence such as this should be sent to: info @rfftx.org.
Cover Letter
There is no special form for grant applications. However, each proposal must include a one-page cover letter describing the project, the amount of funds requested, a statement that you are not a 509(a) (3) agency, the contact person, and email address.
The cover letter and proposal should be sent to: proposal @rfftx.org and signed by the organizations Executive Director.
The Proposal
The Proposal itself should be no more than four pages, written in Microsoft Word or Excel, and include:
- Project description, purpose and outcome desired.
- Justification of need.
- Budgeting and expenditure of funds.
- Specific goals, objectives, outcomes and methods of meeting them.
- Time frame to completion.
- Statement if your agency is a 509(a)(3) organization.
- After reviewing your proposal, we may also request that you send us a copy of your IRS Determination letter and a copy of your most recent audited financials.
